Gaming Computer
Building a computer that is targeted mainly for game use, is not that hard of a task. I know
it may sound scary to those someone who has never done that before or has no computer knowledge. Computers are associated with great
difficulties sometimes, but building one is not that difficult - go figure.
Computer Manufacturers Secrets
Building a computer is easy, yet computer manufacturers hide that fact from the consumer because they make their living
selling complete computers. The truth is that manufacturers focus on selling a computer with an overall low price tag to entice people
to buy. The processor and software are the primary selling point. Most often aside from the processor and graphics card, consumers have
no idea what
components are actually being used. "Alienware" is one of the rare exceptions. This company tells consumers, in general,
what components they are using. However, these are not the best components on the market. Many times inferior products are being
used by manufacturers for the sake of profit.

Building a Computer - The Advantage
To get the highest quality, research every component, thus you will ensure a high-end computer. If you've ever wondered why
your store bought gaming computer with the top of the line graphics card and ultra fast CPU is still having trouble running newer
games, it is likely because they use inferior components.
Warranties, Technical Support...
Manufacturers warranties are most often given to every component purchased. As for technical support, I've had much better
luck with getting questions answered through friendly helpful forums on the Internet than I ever have from technical support lines.
Good Technical Support, sad as it may sound, can not be found in today's computer market wether you build your own computer or buy a
ready maid one.
Upgrading
Upgrading is easier once you build your own computer. Since you have already put it together, replacing a hard drive or
changing a CPU is extremely easy.
You may not be able to get more dates once you achieved building your own computer, but at
least you will have a great sensation of accomplishment. Good luck!
